(STILLWATER, Okla., July 18, 2016) – Connor Mojo, industrial engineering major and recent CEAT graduate was awarded the Sigma Nu National Scholar of the Year and granted membership of the Alpha Alumni Chapter Affiliate Program.

Membership in the Alpha Alumni Chapter Affiliate Program is one of the highest honors given by Sigma Nu; only 10 men are selected each year for the award.

He was recognized at the awards ceremony at Sigma Nu’s Grand Chapter Convention in San Diego, Calif.

Mojo was a CEAT Scholars and Sigma Nu scholarship recipient, and was involved in many campus and fraternity activities such as the Institute of Industrial Engineers, Student Government Association and CEAT Student Council. He served as the scholarship chair, executive council member, risk reduction committee member, new member alumni relations chair and by-laws committee chair member for Sigma Nu.

Mojo has been a member of the Oklahoma State University Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Nu since he first enrolled in 2012.

“I owe a great deal to Sigma Nu; immediately as a freshman I was mentored by Sigma Nu members who showed me how to serve wholeheartedly, love unconditionally and to always give my best,” says Mojo. “Receiving such a high honor from Sigma Nu is a testament to the OSU chapter, my parents and all the amazing opportunities and experience OSU has provided me with during these four years.”
