Wednesday, November 23, 2016

(STILLWATER, Okla., September 20, 2016) – Randy Seitsinger, architecture professor and FAIA, has been named the new associate dean of academic affairs for the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT).

“I look forward to this opportunity to work with all of the faculty, staff and students in CEAT to expand our mission and provide innovative, academic programs to all CEAT students,” says Seitsinger. “My past experience will help me provide a unique look to academic offerings across the college.”

Seitsinger graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and master’s degree in architecture. After graduation, he worked as a designer in the office of I. M. Pei & Partners in New York City before returning to the OSU as a faculty member in 1987. In 1995, he was named head of the School of Architecture, where he served in that role until now.

“Randy Seitsinger is an outstanding academic leader and student advocate,” says CEAT dean Paul Tikalsky. “His 20 years of leadership experience and expertise in both engineering and architecture puts him in the unique position of understanding the broad mission of the college and wide breadth of our faculty. I’m proud to have him on the team to help OSU and CEAT move forward in creating the next generation of OSU graduates.”
