Grant Seeking Suggestions: Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma

The Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma is one of 44 native nations that receive training and technical assistance through the Southern Plains Tribal Technical Assistance Program Center (TTAP). Over the past few years, the tribal government has developed a successful tribal transportation department, relying on training, support and advice from Southern Plains TTAP. Their success in planning infrastructure and safety projects, identifying and being awarded grants, has allowed them to begin to complete a robust set of plans for their tribal and local community in Pawnee and Payne counties. In this video, Transportation Director Chris McCray and Assistant Manager Rhonda James, share some tips for other tribal governments in creating successful grant proposals.
