OSU ranked 10th on list of best value engineering schools

Oklahoma State University is ranked 10th among the 50 best value engineering schools for 2018 by Best Value Schools. The ranking was published on the organization's website.
The National Center for Education Statistics' College Navigator database was used to determine the 50 best value engineering schools. Four-year, public and non-profit colleges and universities in the United States offering bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering were considered.
“Oklahoma State strives to provide a high-quality and affordable education to our students,” said OSU President Burns Hargis. “An engineering degree has never been more important and we are pleased to be ranked in the top 10 of the best value engineering schools in the country.”
All featured institutions have a maximum annual tuition of $25,000 and Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accreditation. Eligible schools were ranked using the following criteria: number of accredited programs, STEM majors, early career pay, and net price.
Established in 1890, Oklahoma State University is one of the nation's most comprehensive land-grant university systems. Each year, more than 35,000 students attend OSU at one of five campus locations and online. OSU's main campus is located about 60 miles from both Oklahoma City and Tulsa in the city of Stillwater.
