OSU-COM clinical assistant professor elected to AOA board

C. Michael Ogle, D.O., adjunct clinical assistant professor for rural health and internal medicine and director of OSU Physicians Rural Clinic in Enid, was elected as third vice president of the American Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees last week during the AOA’s annual House of Delegates meeting.

He graduated from OSU-COM in 1986. In addition to his duties as medical director at INTEGRIS Bass Baptist Health Center, Ogle also is president of Emergency Medical Services Inc. and chief executive officer of Alacrity Healthcare. He is a past president of the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association and has been an OOA trustee since 2006.

Ogle was named Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Rookie Physician of the Year in 1991 and was selected Rural Physician of the Year by the Rural Health Association of Oklahoma in 2007. He has served on the Oklahoma Board of Medico-Legal Investigation and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Medical Advisory Committee. He currently serves as a member of the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners.
