Rural Oklahoma photo contest winners named

The OSU Center for Rural Health announced that Ben Greiner and Richard Waters are the winners of its annual Rural Oklahoma Photo Contest.

Greiner’s photo, Sunrise of Vinita, took first place in the student division. Waters’ photo of buffalo in Pawhuska won the public category.

The contest was part of the annual celebration marking National Rural Health Day on Nov. 17. It features photos of life in rural Oklahoma, including animals, landscapes and community events, which demonstrate the beauty of rural Oklahoma.
