Jessica Branstetter, OMS-III, recently placed first in the research poster symposium during the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association 116th Annual Convention.
Her poster was titled, “The Differential Effects of Digoxin Use on Atrial Fibrillation Patients by Race and Gender.” Branstetter worked with the Center for Health Systems Innovation’s Cerner HealthFacts database to gather data for her research project.
The research project is among the requirements for students in the OSU-CHS Rural Medicine track. She earned first place above 24 other competitors.
