OSU-OKC to host Cowboy Up Reconnect event for prospective and returning students

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City will host the Cowboy Up Reconnect event on May 1 from 4-7 p.m. on its campus at 900 N. Portland Ave. This event aims to welcome new prospective students and reconnect with former students who wish to complete their degrees.

The Cowboy Up Reconnect event will allow attendees to learn about OSU-OKC’s programs, resources, and student success stories. The event will also offer tailored guidance to help individuals complete their educational journey.

Who Should Attend:

  • New prospective students exploring degree options
  • Individuals who started their degree but did not complete it and are looking to return and graduate

Event Highlights: 

  • Shop local community pop-up shops and food trucks while getting information about the OSU-OKC campus.

What to expect:

  • Introduction to degree programs, campus life and student resources
  • Overview of the enrollment process, financial aid and scholarship opportunities
  • Academic advising specifically for students who want to return and complete their degrees
  • Guidance on flexible degree completion programs, including online and evening classes
  • Representatives from financial aid, admissions and student services
  • Information on student organizations and community involvement

The event will be held in parking lot H, between the Student Center building and the Learning Resource Center. The parking lot faces Portland Avenue. Attendees will have the chance to meet with faculty, staff and current students to gain insights into the OSU-OKC community.
