OSUIT student clubs rally for a cause with Bunco Night Fundraiser

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology student clubs rolled the dice for a good cause earlier this month, coming together to host a Bunco Night fundraiser on April 8 benefiting the Okmulgee Fire Department.

The event wasn’t just a night of games and fun, it was a way for students to give back to those who serve the Okmulgee community every day. Thanks to the collective effort of multiple student organizations, the fundraiser brought in over $750 worth of supplies and donations, according to the organizers.

The contributions included:

• A large supply of snacks and Liquid I.V. hydration packets
• Toys for children to be distributed during emergency situations
• Three new mattresses
• Three new comforter sets, complete with pillows

From start to finish, the night reflected the spirit of service that defines OSUIT’s student body.
