Zoetis Awards Scholarships to Veterinary Students

Zoetis and the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges recently announced the 353 winners of the 2016 Zoetis Veterinary Student Scholarship Program.

Congratulations to the nine recipients from Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences: Kaitlyn Belanger (’18), Christopher Brown (’18), Ashley Chandler (’17), Peter Czajkowski (’17), Tara Ediger (’18), Kaitlyn Gregg (’17), Livvy Jones (’17), Jeff Olivarez (’18) and Jose Oyola Morales (’17).

Applicants were evaluated on academic excellence, financial need, diversity, sustainability, leadership and career path. Each recipient received $2,000. Zoetis created the program to support leadership and diversity among future veterinarians while also helping to offset the significant costs associated with a veterinary education.
