Ektate and Poudel Tie for Award

Kalyani Ektate and Nabin Poudel were recently selected as co-winners for the People’s Choice Award at the 2017 Three Minute Thesis competition for Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences.

Ektate, a PhD student in the Department of Physiological Sciences, presented “Cancer: Bad to the Core.” She is mentored by Dr. Ashish Ranjan who leads the department’s Laboratory of Nanomedicine and Targeted Therapy.

Poudel, a PhD student also in the Department of Physiological Sciences, presented “Exploring the Hallmark of Kidney Disease.” He is mentored by Dr. Myron Hinsdale in the same department.
