OSU alumna finalist for America’s Favorite Veterinarian

Friday, August 1, 2014

Dr. Letrisa Miller (Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine class of 1998) has been chosen as one of only 20 finalists for America’s Favorite Veterinarian. Selected by an American Veterinary Medical Foundation review panel from more than 700 nominations, she is the only OSU graduate.

An essay written by Miller’s nominator caught the committee’s eye and described her community involvement, ethical behavior, passion for the veterinary profession, and her connection to animals and their owners. Miller currently practices at Connecticut Feline Medicine and Surgery LLC, a feline-exclusive practice she opened in July 2012 in Manchester, Connecticut. She lives nearby in Bolton, Connecticut, with her husband and daughter.

OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is extremely proud of Miller’s accomplishments and this well-deserved recognition. Voting is open from now until Sept. 1, 2014. You can vote once each day. Please visit www.americasfavoriteveterinarian.org and vote.
