OSU’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is proud to announce that one of its teaching assistants has won the prestigious Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award given by the Graduate and Professional Student Government Association. Manushree Bharadwaj, BVSc, was selected as the single recipient of this campus wide award. She received a $350 cash prize and a certificate.

“Manushree has been my teaching assistant in comparative anatomy for the past four years,” said Jim Lish, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Physiological Sciences at the veterinary center. “She is also the TA for veterinary histology. She is truly outstanding and very deserving of this honor.”
Nominees must be master’s or doctoral students enrolled as a graduate student in the current academic year and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
In addition to being a TA, Bharadwaj is a PhD student in the Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology Laboratory of Lara Maxwell, DVM, PhD, in the Department of Physiological Sciences.
