The Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association and the Student American Veterinary Medical Association at Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences recently organized a Legislative Day at the State Capitol.
First and second year veterinary students had an opportunity to share current issues in veterinary medicine with Oklahoma lawmakers.
One of the legislators students visited was Cory Williams, State Representative, District 34. Rep. Cory Williams is the assistant democratic floor leader and sits on the Higher Education Committee, Judiciary-Criminal Justice and Corrections Committee, and the Public Safety Committee.
