Kouplen Inspires Graduates at OSUIT 212th Commencement Ceremony

OSU Institute of Technology graduated 250 students during its 212th commencement ceremony on April 19at 2 p.m. in Covelle Hall.  Kouplen, an OSU alumnus who grew up in Beggs, Oklahoma, shared stories of his best and worst times and the lessons learned through these.

OSUIT Welcomes Commerce Secretary as Spring Commencement Speaker

OSU Institute of Technology’s 212th Commencement ceremonies will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019. The ceremony will be held at Covelle Hall, on the south side of campus off Fourth Street. Doors will open for visitors at 12:45 p.m. for the 2:00 p.m. ceremony.

Grab Your Orange, Annual OrangeFest Festival Scheduled for April 12

OSU Institute of Technology and Okmulgee Main Street have teamed up once again to put on the annual OrangeFest festival in downtown Okmulgee, Friday, April 12.  This free community event will begin at 4 p.m. and end around 11 p.m. and features everything from live music, food trucks and a beer garden to a mechanical bull, lawn games, inflatables and the annual Glo Run 5K.

Creating their take on meatloaf in this head to head challenge is Chef Jennifer Booker, OSUIT alumna, owner and executive chef of Your Resident Gourmet in Atlanta, GA and Chef Elizabeth Howe, Oklahoma Market Chef of US Foods.
