Pipeline Integrity Students Get Look at Valve Manufacturing

Eight students and one instructor from OSU Institute of Technology’s Pipeline Integrity Technology program recently spent a day at Balon Valves in Oklahoma City learning how valves used in the pipeline industry are manufactured, and the group even assembled valves that will be used in the field.

Pathway to Bachelor’s Degree Now Easier for Culinary Students

Representatives from OSU Institute of Technology’s School of Culinary Arts and Oklahoma State University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management on the Stillwater campus signed an articulation agreement Tuesday that makes it easier for students from OSUIT to transfer to OSU HTM and complete their bachelor’s degree.

OSUIT will delay opening until 10:30 a.m. today.

OSU Institute of Technology will delay opening until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, due to travel conditions.    Classes that begin and end prior to 10:30 a.m. have been canceled. Classes that are normally in session at 10:30 a.m. will begin at that time and end at their regularly scheduled end time.   All faculty, staff and students are urged to use caution and allow more time when traveling to and from campus. Road conditions will vary according to different geographical locations and terrain. Please exercise good judgment when making travel decisions.
