However, Oklahoma State University, as part of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) People, Prosperity and the Planet (P3) grant program, is developing a system that will improve the quality of life for all people, economic prosperity and protection of the planet.

The Oklahoma State University Honors College Odyssey of the Mind team placed third in the World Finals competition at Michigan State University in May. More than 900 teams participated in this year’s event, representing nearly every state and over 20 countries. There were four divisions from elementary to collegiate teams and five problems the teams could choose to explore.

Subhash Kak, regents professor and emeritus of electrical and computer engineering at Oklahoma State University, was awarded The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) Award for the advancement of Dharmic Arts & Sciences for 2019 on June 24, 2019 on the Capital Hill of the Congress in Washington DC. The award is presented to individuals for their continuous work to educate Americans at large about Hindu traditions through the promotion of Dharmic arts and sciences.
