Shaping Oklahoma Youth: Child Development Lab celebrates centennial

Housed within Nancy Randolph Davis West, the lab offers an innovative, educational and inclusive learning environment for children. In addition to shaping Stillwater youth, the CDL provides invaluable hands-on learning experiences for Oklahoma State University students, preparing them for careers in early childhood education.

For the second straight year, Stillwater Bowl-Fest will raise funds to support the Oklahoma State University Cleo L. Craig Child Development Lab (CDL). The Super Bowl party on Sunday, February 4, will feature the game on big screen projectors, dinner with dessert, an open bar and a silent auction. Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. at Meditations Catering and Banquet Venue.

When Sarrah and Zach Owens moved to Stillwater in January, 2016, one of the first things they looked for was a school for their son Jaxon. The Child Development Lab in the College of Human Sciences was just what they needed for the three-year-old as it provided speech and occupational therapies for children who required them.
