Those interested in learning more about recycling can do so at the 2015 Oklahoma Recycling Conference. The conference is hosted by the Oklahoma Recycling Association and will take place Oct. 20 at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa Schusterman Center.

The conference is geared toward municipal and county officials, recycling professionals, community and business leaders, educators, students and Oklahoma residents interested in recycling or improving local programs, said Lynn Malley, assistant Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension specialist, waste management programs.

“We’re really excited to be a part of this conference and hope participants will go home with many new ideas that can be implemented in their communities,” Malley said.

This one-day conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature Scott Cassel, chief executive officer and founder of the Product Stewardship Institute, as the keynote speaker.
