OSU Livestock Judging Team named champions at National Barrow Show

Congratulations to the Oklahoma State University Livestock Judging Team for bringing home champion team honors from the 2016 National Barrow Show. Three team members also captured Top-10 honors overall.

The 2016 Livestock Judging Team returned home from competition after a win in Austin, Minnesota. Team members include Callie Akins, Cassie Allread, Cooper Bounds, Britton Francis, Bryce Hauenstein, Kayla Hildebrand, Tim Hubbard, Dylan Murray, Maggie Neer, Eli Peterson, John Reasor, Hunter Royal, Kate Shaffer, Bodee Schlipf, Allison Tarvin, Logan Van Allen, and Amy Wolff. They received Champion Team Overall and High Team in oral reasons.

OSU had three in the top ten overall. In reasons, Bodee Schlipf was 2nd, Cooper Bounds was 3rd, and Maggie Neer was 9th. For individual results overall, Bodee Schlipf was 2nd high individual, Cooper Bounds was 6th, and Maggie Neer was 8th.

The team is coached by Dr. Blake Bloomberg and assisted by Ashely Judge.
