Couple Finds Love During Big 3 Field Days

Monday, June 26, 2017

What is better than a good love story?

The department was contacted about a month ago by Chris Martin, now of Mustang, Okla., wanting to know if he could bring his wife, Jordan, up to the Totusek Arena as a way to celebrate their anniversary. They originally met during OSU's Big 3 Field Days at the Totusek Arena 13-14 years ago. They are now married with four kids.

The happy couple toured the facility and celebrated their anniversary over a candle-lit dinner!

When they met, Chris was an El Reno FFA member and was the High Individual in the FFA sheep judging. His Ag Teacher was Mr. Bobby Listen, who was on Jarold Callahan's 1989 National Champion Livestock Team. Jordan Martin (then Jordan Jackson) was a Yukon FFA member judging for her Ag Teacher, Mr. Tim Herren.
