Seven College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources seniors receive top honors from the Alumni Association

Seven seniors from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources have been named 2018 Outstanding Seniors by the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.

Seven seniors from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources have been named 2018 Outstanding Seniors by the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.

The Outstanding Senior award recognizes seniors who excel through academic achievement; campus and community activities; academic, athletic or extra-curricular honors or awards; scholarships and work ethic during their time at OSU.

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources honorees with their hometowns and majors are:

Megan A. DeVuyst, agribusiness, Morrison, Oklahoma

Hammons P. Hepner, agricultural economics and finance, Freedom, Oklahoma

Courtney Mapes, animal science, Alva, Oklahoma

Angel Molina, agribusiness, Johnson City, Kansas

Gatlin Squires, agribusiness, Kingfisher, Oklahoma

William Starr, microbiology and molecular genetics, Tulsa, Oklahoma

Caleb Wilson, biochemistry and molecular biology, Tulsa, Oklahoma

Fourteen seniors were chosen to receive the award by the OSU Alumni Association Student Awards and Selection Committee after it met with the 47 Seniors of Significance selected in the fall of 2017 and reviewed their applications.

A public banquet honoring the Outstanding Seniors will be held April 23 at 6 p.m. at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater. Tickets may be purchased online at orangeconnection.org/osdinner or by calling 405.744.3600.
