In January, “U.S. News and World Report” released its annual Best Online Program rankings, with Oklahoma State University earning high marks.

The 2022 rankings assessed 1,728 online degree programs, an all-time high for the publication, and measured overall academic quality across varying disciplines.

OSU’s College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology appeared three times on the list. CEAT tied for No. 17 in Best Online Master’s in Engineering Programs, placed No. 12 in Best Online Master’s in Engineering Programs for Veterans and No. 17 again in Best Online Master’s in Engineering Management Programs.

“The high quality experience of online engineering education at OSU has developed over a decade,” said Dr. Paul Tikalsky, dean of CEAT, in a release on his college's rankings.  "We realize that not all engineering programs can effectively be taught online, so we have developed select programs and topics that engage the best faculty in our college.”

The Spears School of Business also appeared three times on the list, with a tie for No. 28 in Best Online MBA Programs, a No. 19 mark in Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans. Spears also appeared in a separate category excluding MBA degrees and that was No. 38 for Best Online Master’s in Business Programs.

“Our online MBA program has steadily risen in the rankings which is a direct result of the dedicated efforts of our faculty and staff,” said Dr. Ken Eastman, dean of Spears Business, in a release. “We have a high quality and affordable program and these two aspects have led to a significant increase in our MBA enrollment. We believe we have one of the best online programs in the country and we continue to strive to make it the best program possible.”

OSU’s College of Education and Human Sciences appeared on the list at No. 147 for Best Online Master’s in Education Programs.

The university as a whole finished in the top 360 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs.
