$10M grant awarded to develop, expand Indigenous food sovereignty initiatives
A five-year, $10 million grant was recently awarded to OSU’s Center for Indigenous Health Research and Policy (CIHRP) to expand and grow health and nutrition initiatives in native communities across the country.
Earlier this fall, OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Cherokee Nation offered students from both campuses the opportunity to enroll in a weekly Cherokee language class that meets virtually.
