Faculty Spotlight: Shelbie Witte, Secondary Literacy

In this Faculty Spotlight video, meet Shelbie Witte, associate professor of secondary literacy and the Kim and Chuck Watson Endowed Chair in Education, who joined the College of Education faculty this past fall. 

Witte shares about her background and research efforts, the opportunities the Watson Chair provides, as well as her work as Director of the OSU Writing Project.

“I have been very pleased with the ways our students work diligently to become future teachers,” Witte says. “I’ve been welcomed in with open arms from colleagues in the School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership and the College of Education. I feel right at home here.”
