OSU Mortar Board names Top 20 freshmen men and women for 2022

The Oklahoma State University chapter of the Mortar Board honor society recently named students to its annual list of Top 20 Freshmen Men and Top 20 Freshmen Women, as well as Top 10 Freshmen Men and Women for the 2021 — 22 class.

Local teachers got some much-needed information and resources to help them teach their students about the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, perhaps the darkest time in the city’s history. Nearly 20 teachers from Bartlesville, Glenpool, Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Union and other school districts took part in “Writing and Remembrance: Strategies for Teaching the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre” June 11-13 at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa.
