HHP Group Travels to Auburn University for Research
Thursday, November 3, 2016
Oklahoma State University College of Education faculty Jason DeFreitas and Nathaniel Jenkins recently visited Auburn University to perform a collaborative research project. The study examined the effects of fatigue on neural and histochemical properties of muscle.
DeFreitas and Jenkins, assistant professors in health and human performance, traveled with equipment from the OSU’s Applied Neuromuscular Physiology Laboratory. The equipment used for neural measurements combined with Auburn's ability to perform muscle biopsies for the study. DeFreitas and Jenkins collaborated with Auburn University faculty Michael Roberts, Kaelin Young, and Jeff Martin.
