Applied exercise science faculty receives national recognition

Dr. Jay Dawes, associate professor of applied exercise science, has been named the 2021 Tactical Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in recognition of his contributions to the organization and the field.

Faculty and graduate students in the Oklahoma State University Applied Neuromuscular Physiology Laboratory recently hosted seventh-grade students from Stillwater Middle School for a day of hands-on learning, specifically related to brain activity. The Brain Blast event is one of many outreach initiatives coordinated by the lab to engage youth in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning.

Tim Baghurst Awarded NCAA Research Grant

Tomko Wins First Place and People’s Choice at College 3MT Competition
