Laurie Thompson wins college 3MT competition

The breadth of research and creativity in the College of Education, Health and Aviation and the College of Human Sciences was on display at the 2019 3MT (Three-Minute Thesis) competition on October 21. Four graduate students walked away with a cash prize, including winner Laurie Thompson, a master’s student in nutritional sciences.

OSU Flying Aggies Flight Team wins regional competition

The Oklahoma State Flying Aggies Flight Team won first place at this year’s Region IV National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) competition held in Norman, Oklahoma, Oct. 7-9. Oklahoma State defeated seven other schools to win the region and secure its place in the national competition next spring in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Five College of Human Sciences students were recently announced as Oklahoma State University Top 20 Freshmen Men and Women for 2018-19. OSU’s Mortar Board chapter oversees the selection of the Top Ten Freshmen Men and Women.
