Three win OSU President’s Fellows Award for research projects

OSU to Host Stockton/Brooks Free Speech Lecture March 7

Oklahoma State University will host the inaugural Stockton/Brooks Lecture on Thursday, March 7 at 6 p.m. in the Wes Watkins Center. The lecture will feature two prominent civil rights and free speech activists, Azhar Majeed and Andy Lester, and will address concerns related to thought control and free speech on college campuses today.

Tim Baghurst Awarded NCAA Research Grant

Mel Lantz, assistant professor in counseling and counseling psychology, has received the Society of Counseling Psychology (SCP) Early Career Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Counseling Psychology. This award is presented by the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 17 and honors distinguished scientific contributions by an early career psychologist to the field of counseling psychology.

OSU honors civil rights pioneer Nancy Randolph Davis

A statue depicting Nancy Randolph Davis, the first African-American student to attend Oklahoma A&M College, was dedicated in a ceremony Thursday when her lifesize sculpture was unveiled on the Oklahoma State University campus.
