Oklahoma State’s Veterinary Center hosts special guest

On April 9, 2019, Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences had the pleasure of hosting a very special young man, Matthew Harrison age 16 from Lewisville, Texas. Accompanied by his mother, Teresa Wood, Matthew spent the day learning about veterinary medicine and participating in some hands-on activities.

Lacombe Elected to International Scientific Board

Oklahoma State University’s Véronique A. Lacombe, DVM, has been elected as a full member of the Board of the International Society for Heart and Vascular Metabolism. Her three-year term begins in June with the society’s 17th annual international meeting. The society is at the vanguard of biomedical research in metabolic homeostasis, an expanding field across many areas, including the cardiovascular arena.
