Daversa and OSU Jazz Orchestra to offer fusion concert

The critically-acclaimed Oklahoma State University Jazz Orchestra will join Grammy-nominated composer/trumpeter John Daversa for a “jazz fusion meets big band” concert on Monday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Seretean Center Concert Hall.

Remembering David Oberhelman

The staff and faculty of the OSU Library acknowledge with profound sadness the death of Dr. David Oberhelman. Oberhelman served the Oklahoma State University Libraries from 1999 to 2018 and held the position of W.P. Wood Professor of Library Service. He died at the age of 52 on January 25, 2018.

John DeGeorge Honored with Decade of Excellence Award

Recognizing extraordinary community outreach, the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) announced today that Oklahoma State University is a regional winner of the 2017 W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Engagement Scholarship Award. OSU now competes with three other regional winners -- East Carolina University, the University of New Hampshire and Purdue University -- for the national C. Peter Magrath Community Engagement Scholarship Award, which will be announced during the APLU Annual Meeting November 12-14 in Washington, D.C.

For the third straight year, the Oklahoma State University Flying Aggies Flight Team placed first in the National Intercollegiate Flying Association SAFECON Region VI Competition, held in Norman, Okla., October 17-20.
