Students Train and Sale Geldings in the OSU Equine Program

The OSU equine program has grown significantly over the past year. With a new building, new manager and three new courses, students have more opportunities than ever for hands-on learning with horses. This spring, five students began the breaking and training process with two and three-year-old geldings. Under the guidance of Natalie Baker and Dr. Steven Cooper, these students learned how to start colts under saddle and lay a solid foundation for future owners to build upon.
