OSU maintains prestigious recognition as Carnegie R1 institution
Oklahoma State University has once again secured its designation as a Carnegie R1 research institution, reinforcing its position among the top research universities in the nation.
Dr. Keith Garbutt, dean of the Oklahoma State University Honors College, was recently named a fellow of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC). He is one of two honors professionals selected this year and is joining a select group of about 70 other honors program professionals across the country to be honored with this title.
Two Oklahoma State University students have received Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards for the 2021-2022 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
Rachel Terry, an honors biology major from Edmond, Oklahoma, has been selected as an Oklahoma State University 2019-2020 Outstanding Senior by the OSU Alumni Association.
Students from the Spears School of Business have been recognized by the Oklahoma State University Honors College for academic distinction including maintaining high grade point averages for the 2018-19 academic year.
