OSU hosts state groundwater conference for second year, promoting crucial industry

Oklahoma State University welcomed more than 200 groundwater professionals to Stillwater on Jan. 4 and 5 for the annual Oklahoma Ground Water Association (OGWA) Conference and Trade Show. This was the second year OSU hosted the event, which provides continuing education opportunities and a chance for attendees to connect on Oklahoma groundwater issues.

Goldwater Scholar, the 2019 Top Junior for the College of Arts and Sciences, a Niblack Scholar, a Wentz Research Scholar, a 2019-2020 Outstanding Senior, and also the Orange Gown Graduate for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Oklahoma State University’s College of Arts and Sciences honored 25 of its most successful alumni Sept. 27 during the 2019 CAS Distinguished Alumni & Hall of Fame Ceremony at the Wes Watkins Center for International Trade & Development. Ardoth Hassler and Dr. George Thompson were both inducted into the Hall of Fame, while Brent Butcher and Maddy Cunningham were named Rising Stars. There were also 21 Distinguished Alumni recipients.
