OSU Museum of Art receives major gift from George R. Kravis II Collection

The Oklahoma State University Museum of Art has received more than 600 works of fine art and design from the George R. Kravis II collection. The collection ranges from video art to pop art, and 1930s to 21st-century design with an international representation of artists. It includes works from Roy Lichtenstein, Brian Bress, Henry Moore, Charles and Ray Eames, Philippe Starck and Oklahoman Otto Duecker.

OSU Hospitality Days set for February 18-19

The Oklahoma State University School of Hospitality and Tourism will host its 63rd annual Hospitality Days, February 18-19, 2019, in the north wing of the Human Sciences Building. The event includes a career fair and industry connection opportunities for students and hospitality professionals. On Monday, February 18, at 1 p.m. students will hear from a panel of recently graduated hospitality professionals with a keynote address from Operation Blue Shield founder and CEO Toni Brinker to follow.

Allan Houser sculpture Abstract Orange takes OSU orange to new level

A second Allan Houser sculpture, this one perfectly matched to America’s Brightest Orange, was unveiled Wednesday during a ceremony hosted by Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis and First Cowgirl Ann Hargis. Abstract Orange is a continuation of OSU’s initiative of integrating public art on campus.
