OSU chemistry professor receives $1.8 million NIH grant

The Oklahoma State University Museum of Art’s newest exhibition, Vision and Visionary: The Paintings and Drawings of Moh’d Bilbeisi, features over 70 works of art including paintings of architectural landscapes from across the globe, imaginative drawings and original sketchbooks. Psychology Ph.D. student receives $68K NIH grant to study aging and childhood trauma

Less than a year after submitting her grant application to the National Institute on Aging — a subset of the National Institutes of Health — Psychology Ph.D. student Cindy Tsotsoros was awarded $68,590 in May to study the impact of childhood adversity on indicators of brain health. The R36 Dissertation Award had previously only been given to one other OSU student and funds both Tsotsoros’ stipend and her research with young and aging women.

2021 Remember the Ten Scholarship recipients announced

Created in 2012, the scholarship program supports graduate students seeking a master’s degree or doctorate at OSU in mental health counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology or marriage and family therapy. Each recipient receives a $1,000 cash scholarship.
