Students claim $53,000 in prize money in Riata Business Plan Competition

The Oklahoma State University School for Entrepreneurship and the Riata Center for Entrepreneurship have named winners of the 2021 student competition to create business plans for innovative startups. The Riata Business Plan Competition at the Spears School of Business promotes entrepreneurship and small business development by focusing on student-created, -managed and -owned ventures.

The history of Hanner Hall

Hanner Hall served Oklahoma State University well during its 90-plus year life span. Built in 1926, the building was a men's residency hall for many years before serving as a temporary residence hall of a sorority, a home for the campus financial aid department and offices for the College of Business. It was torn down prior to the construction of the new Business Building.

His company, Infusion Solutions, now works with 40 hospitals in 22 states, and, with the help of OSU’s entrepreneurial program, he’s launched a new product that could revolutionize in-home infusion treatment.

OSU online MBA climbs in national ranking

Oklahoma State University’s online MBA program and overall online business master’s degree options at the Spears School of Business were recognized among the nation’s best in the U.S. News and World Report 2021 Best Online Programs ranking released today. The online MBA at Spears Business finished in the top 12 percent of national programs where rankings consider quality of faculty and teaching practices as well as the value students receive, according to U.S. News and World Report.

Oklahoma State University business and engineering graduates Haley Marie Keith and Kevin Keith have been selected by Forbes magazine to be included in its 2021 list of 30 Under 30 standout manufacturing and industry entrepreneurs under 30 years of age. The married couple were still OSU students when they developed the business MITO Material Solutions based on OSU licensed and patented technology that incorporates graphene additives into composite materials such as epoxies or polymers, making them substantially stronger and lighter.

Accounting alum Nate Abebe awarded prestigious Silver Medal
