The Oklahoma State University College of Human Sciences has recognized eight students as 2019 Seniors of Distinction, the highest honor given to graduating seniors by the college. Faculty in each of four academic units in the College of Human Sciences – the Department of Design, Housing and Merchandising; the Department of Human Development and Family Science; the Department of Nutritional Sciences; and the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management – selected two Seniors of Distinction for their respective units.

Paige Bergin graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Relations and Child Development. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Curriculum Supervision. A 17-year teaching veteran, Bergin is currently an instructional coach for preschool through fifth grade at Jarman Elementary School in Tulsa, Okla.

Kristin Atchley, Nellie Perry (posthumous) and Kristen Smith were presented with Distinguished Alumni Awards; Tim Gowin, Benjamin Houltberg and Samantha Johnson were honored as Rising Stars; and Rick Green was recognized as an Honorary Alumnus of the College of Human Sciences.
