The ceremony recognized students who received an honors award or experiential learning (xL) essay award during the Spring 2021-22 academic year. The local Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy store hired her on, but looking back, Blackwell ended up getting a whole lot more than just a paycheck. It turned her onto a path that would lead her to the OSU Spears School of Business and a future career in hospitality management.

Rachel Cameron, a young actress and entrepreneurship student, made her way to Stillwater after filming a movie in Yukon, Oklahoma. The Dallas native spent a month and a half in Oklahoma on the set of “Treasure Lies,” a faith-based movie about a hardworking teenage boy who wins the lottery and faces a crisis of character where Cameron plays the love interest. It was her time spent shooting when she fell in love with the state of Oklahoma and decided to attend OSU.
